Award Winning Paper of the Department of Civil Engineering

 

The Department of Civil Engineering of UAP is conducting research works on Sustainable Development of Concrete Construction Works in Bangladesh since 2004 through undergraduate and graduate level research works. Based on these research results, five separate technical papers were submitted in an international conference, "Third International Conference on Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies (SCMT3), Kyoto, Japan, August 18- August 21, 2013"

 

The papers were accepted for publication in the conference proceedings and also presentation in the conference. Among five papers of the Department of Civil Engineering, two papers were selected as Award Winning Paper (http://www.jci-net.or.jp/~scmt3/award.hrml). It can be noted that out of five hundred technical papers only 12 papers were selected as Award Winning Paper (Award 1). The authors of Award Winning Paper will receive award certificates on August 20, 2013 during the conference banquet program. The award winning papers are also selected for possible publication in the Journal of materials in Civil Engineering of American Society of Civil Engineers. It can be noted that Dr. Md. Tarek Uddin is a member of International Advisory Committee of this conference (http://222.jci-net.or.jp/~scmt3/committe.html) .He will also chair two separate technical sessions of this conference.
